Data Deletion Request

You have the right to be forgotten. Request deletion of your personal data — we process requests within 30 days, no questions asked.

Your rights: Under GDPR (Article 17), CCPA, and other privacy laws, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. We honor this right regardless of your location.

What will be deleted

When you submit a deletion request, we'll delete the following data associated with your device:

  • AI Helper conversations — all your chat messages with the AI Helper agent
  • Feature suggestions — any suggestions you submitted via the 💡 button
  • Tool usage data — page views, time spent, errors encountered
  • Device identifier — your anonymous device hash
  • Session data — current and past session IDs
  • Email address — if you provided it for follow-up
  • Language preferences — your detected preferred language
  • Achievement data — badges, streaks, mastery levels
  • Referral data — any referral codes tied to your device
Good news: We collect very little data to begin with. Most of what we have is anonymous usage stats — your actual tool projects (drafts, scripts, invoices) are stored in your browser, not on our servers.

What may be retained

A few items may be retained for legal or operational reasons:

  • Anonymized aggregate statistics — your data is removed from counts (e.g., "Hook Generator was used 500 times" stays as 500, but your individual session is deleted)
  • Legal-flagged conversations — if any of your messages were flagged as potential legal threats, those are retained permanently for legal protection
  • Records required by law — tax records, transaction records (kept only as long as legally required)
Note: Legal-flagged conversations are retained because they may be needed for legal defense. This is standard practice and required by law in most jurisdictions.

Browser data (local storage)

We also store some data in your browser (local storage). To clear this:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data → clickkitfree.com → Remove
  • Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security → Clear Data
  • Edge: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data

This will remove: your tool projects, BYOK API keys, preferences (dark mode, language, voice settings), AI Helper session ID, and device ID.

BYOK keys: To clear just your BYOK API keys (without clearing everything else), click the 🔑 button in the AI Helper agent → "🗑️ Clear All Keys". This removes your keys instantly.

  3. We'll delete your data within 30 days
  4. We'll email you when deletion is complete
  5. If you have any issues, you can complain to your local data protection authority
